Good afternoon! I’m very glad to stand here and give you a short speech. Today my topic is “To be a giver rather than a taker”.
Different people have different values. But as we all know, some social problems arise out with the development of the society. And to some degree, “giving and taking” become the direct reason. So naturally, to be a giver rather than a taker is a good way to solve some contradictions.
In fact, most of the people know that to be a giver is great. But in morden society, more and more people become greedy and selfish. They take others’ labor for granted instead of running after something fairly. They always want to get everything they want but doing nothing for it. Now, as it is known to us, some children always take their parents’ love for granted. And they think their parents should give them everything they want. So more and more takers are found in our society. More seriously, this situation has an effect on our formal living.
