话题一: As far as the traditional concept is concerned, students who major in science and engineering have advantages over those majoring liberal arts. To some extent ,this concept is right, but each specialty have it’s own characteristics and strengths. Students of liberal arts and those of science and engineering have something in common .Firstly, both of them need to work hard and obtain certain numbers of credits to acquire their degrees. They both have to complete all the assignments required to ensure their employment after graduation. In addition, they both have some impact on the contry construction. In spite of different specialties ,their contribution to their job in different fields will influence the country from different aspects. With respect to their differences, above all, through long-term training, students of liberal arts have developed their vivid thinking, which makes them better at writing and abstract thinking which makes them better at numeracy and computing .Further more ,one of the heated discussion about these two kinds of students put weight on their opportunities of employment .It seems to be a indisputable fact that students of science and engineering are more likely to be employed than those of liberal arts. No matter what you major in ,you should have this in mind that only through hard work and consistent attempt, can you have a decent job which you are interested in. The division of liberal arts and science is the requirement of curriculumdeveloping toward greater depth, societal development and the socialization ofindividuals.  文理分科是学科深入发展,社会发展和个体社会化的内在要求。 话题二 "My parents had an important influence on the kind of person I am now. Respect, moral values, and good manners are just some of the principles they have implanted in me as I grew up. Undoubtedly, I was raised the old fashion way. However, I still have a long way to go if I want to be as wise as my father , and so determined as my mother. I realize now that all their actions in the past to correct my misbehavior were not pointless, part of my personality is the result of their influences. I am a good father, a good husband, and most important I am a man of values and principles. My dad is man of good sense, and I cannot take that from him. 'Don Benjamin,' Double quotation marks should be used here. as we call him, may not be a perfect father, but he is the best father of all. In one hand, my father was a very strict and overprotective father. I've cried many nights during my teenage-hood Try "teenage years" or "adolescence" instead. because he would not allow me to go out with my friends. But, in the other hand, he would taught me how to be self-sufficient, how to be honest, how to be responsible, and most important how to be respectful to others. Women are surprised to find out that I know how to cook, to wash dishes, to do laundry, to iron my cloth, to sew, to clean the house, and I tell them that I got it from my father. My dad thinks that he is got to keep working to support all of us. It is amazing that when I see myself working until late night, sometimes even weekends and holidays, it is like seeing my father. One day I asked him, why at his age, 65 years old, does he still have to work so much. He replied, "Because the day I die, I want to leave certain that your mother and all of you will not be unsupported." My dad spent quality time with us too, and he proved to me that working hard is not an excuse to unattended the family. He make us enjoy every gathering and family time that we had. Undoubtedly, I am grateful to have my father as my mentor. Determination is one of my mom's qualities that it is still hard for me to obtain. She always achieved whatever she proposed to get, and always finished any task she started. She says to me all the time, "Don't be mediocre, no matter how long it takes, get it done." I am 38 years old, and I have the firmest intention to earn my bachelor's degree, even if it takes more than the two years I have left. It is not only self pride, I am also doing it because of her. My mother has always been a woman of endless patience. Can you imagine what it is to raise six kids while my father was working? I truly admire her for that devotion. I go crazy when I have to baby sit my two kids all by myself. Melva, my mother, is also a woman of action. She says, "Don't think too much, just do it." Anyway, I still cannot get that right, and I think way as much when it comes to making decisions. I can clearly recall every argument my parents had when as a child and a teenager. Either my mother wanted to get me enroll into karate lessons or into the most exclusive private schools. My father would say there are other options that are less expensive, but she wanted it that way. I cannot blame my father anyway, I have four brothers and one sister, it is hard to keep up a financial stability with everyone's demand. At the end I got the karate lessons, and I got to study in one of the most exclusives private institutions in my country. I salute my mother. Life has taught me that without the influence of both my parents, I do not know where I would be today. But, one thing is for sure about me; "Like parents, like son." 话题三 As an employer or hiring manager, there are a lot of things you take into consideration when looking for a new employee. You want to be sure they can get the job done and even surpass your expectations. You want to be sure that they fit in with most of the people that are already employed and  HYPERLINK "http://hr.sparkhire.com/questions-and-answers/spark-a-conversation-corporate-culture-based-interview-questions/" \t "_blank" \o "Spark A Conversation: Corporate Culture Based Interview Questions" mesh into your company culture. Lastly, you want to be sure they are  HYPERLINK "http://hr.sparkhire.com/human-resources-news/desperate-job-seeker/" \t "_blank" \o "Is Your Job Seeker Looking For a “Right Now” Job?" taking this job for the long-run. At the very least you expect them to stay with the company for at least two years. So in the process of looking for all of these things, the educational background and past work experiences of your top candidates is bound to come up. As an employer, what should you place more importance on: educational background or experience? It’s a question that both job seekers and employers alike have asked themselves. If there’s a most common answer to this often-asked question than the answer is: it depends. It depends on what the job is, what kind of candidate you are looking for, what you expect out of the future employee and what you think is most important as an employer. A lot of employers automatically require their candidates to have a four-year degree to fill their positions. However, is it always necessary? Can someone who has a good deal of work experience, but no degree fill that role as well? By placing this requirement in your job post, you may be missing out on a good deal of talent. What you should do before you make an educational requirement is to ask yourself a few questions. What are the expected behaviors of this candidate? What abilities and knowledge must they posses? What are the most important skills? Then ask yourself if those requirements are attainable without a degree. The  HYPERLINK "http://www.reliableplant.com/Read/11307/education-vs-experience" \t "_blank" president of Reliability Careers John Ha tackled this same debate a while back. In trying to answer the question, he took a look at what most employers associate with candidates, or employees, that have a degree. For one, most assume that they know how to analyze problems, conduct research and produce solutions. A great deal of higher education is composed of this specific skill. No matter what degree a candidate has, they worked hard to get it and probably exhibited these skills. It’s also assumed that they can learn complex subject matters and are motivated individuals since they graduated and earned their degree. However, don’t candidates that possess a great deal of work experience likely have these characteristics as well? Perhaps you have a candidate that has had two jobs previously and no degree, and a candidate that has a degree but no experience. If the candidate with no degree worked in your industry before, does their experience put them above the candidate with a degree but virtually no experience in the field? This candidate has proven that they can get the job done, and have before. Cancelling out job seekers like this one alienates you from a great pool of talent. Ultimately, as the hiring manager or employer, the decision is yours to make. Most desirable would be a candidate with a good educational background andexperience. It’s important though that you weigh each option and decide if a degree is truly a requirement or just a desire you seek in your candidates. Depending on the job, the answer
