This procedure applies to the quality control of the installation
of heat exchangers in order to meet the contract,drawings and
specification requirements、

Approval construetion drawings
Factory qualification certificates and quality certificates
3.0 The Staffand Their Responsibilities
The QC engineer is in charge of the site technical management of
the heat exchanger installation and the lifting engineer in charge of
the lifting of the equipment
4.0 The Control Procedure
44.1 Al the heat exchangers should be checked and accepted by the CPECC
and QC engineer according to the procedure of handling,delivery and
Storage of materials、
全2 The materials should be packing and protected in the factory,If
the packing have been damaged,inspect the materials and record when
accept the materials
4.3 Inspection of foundations
The materials used for foundations should meet the requirements
of drawings and specifications,Submit the relevant data when hand over
foundations。
二 Cheek the foundation for proper elevation,orientation centerline,
dimensions of anchor bolts,nameplate and nozzle orientation prior to
installing the heat exchanger, The equipment was carried out
nitrogen-filling protection and the blind flanges can not be opened
before matching pipes,
4.5 If the foundation of the equipment is built by concrete,fix on
one end and erect a sliding plate on the other ends when install the
heat exchanger,If the foundation is made by steel,locate the equipment
directly to the foundation and ensure there is adequate contact surface
between the equipment and its base and grease the sliding end.
4.6 The constructing Company should known well of the drawings and
technical requirements and make suitable schemes and plans to manage
effectively the transportation,installation and assembly of equipment,
4.7 Temporary disassembly all the thermometers etc, during the
equipment installing period and re-install them before the equipment
testing runs.
148 Check the equipment for proper nozzles,flanges and other parts
Which need to conneet to the exterior parts according to the drawings
and specifications before equipment lifting.
.9 When level up by shims,the shims should extrude 10-30m over the
base and the inserted length of the bolts group which insert into the
base by the both sides of the anchor bolts should exceed to the length
of anchor bolts and ensure the weight should be stood by the base equally-
4.10 Check the shims group by a 0.5 pound hammer and ensure there is
no loosening can be found after level up the equipment by a gradienter
and U-shape level pipe, After check as acceptable by Owner,fix the shims
group by spot welding them between layers but ca
