The End of Something “The End of Something", by the author, is a short story about two young people who witness how time can change the world and the people in it. The author uses this story to convey how this change happens all the time, and however desperately you cling to the "present", the present only lasts for that one, fleeting moment you realize it is there, then it is gone, past, and it can never be present again. I was attracted by the title deeply at the first sight , The End of Something.After readding this article,it seems that I get the truth,the past has become past.As it is said by the author,the present will not remain present for long, and one must look beyond what was and look at what is in order to be truly happy. Ignorance is a way of life The author began the essay by telling the experience of waking in the morning and finding him practically ignorant of anything. Yet he was not depressed about his ignorance.He agued that ignorance seems to do him no harm in the daily life, and his inadequate memory of knowledge may deceive him and even cause severe mistakes of misquoting. I was attracted by the title deeply at the first sight ,the pleasures of ignorance.After readding this article,I saw a happy man who went his way serene and comfortable.In my opinion,what he said is a way of life.You don't have to care too much and think too much. Ignorant people may be happy.It's no necessary for us to know everything.We don't have to understand those useless and distracting knowledge and waste time.As the author said,the happily ignorant man,the man aware of his owe ignorance,and perfectly content with it,does not misquote.When you come into contact with the darkness of the society,you will miss the previous ignorance.Be light of heart form care. Exercise is a State of Mind “A sound mind in a sound body is a short, but a full description of a happy state in this world,”wrote the British Philosopher John Locke.Three hundred years later,research shows that we should realize the link of body and mind heath.The author argued that Exercise is a State of Mind.Scientist has evidence to show the long-lasting effects of exercise on the brain.Regular exercise can improve your mood, decrease anxiety, improves sleep,improves resilience(适应力)in the face of stress and raises self-esteem.All these benefits come from exercise-induced alterations inside your head. And exercise is under genetic control.At the end of the article,the author advices that we form the habit of exercise. I was attracted by the title deeply at the first sight ,exercise is a state of mind.In my opinion,exercise is a way of life rather than a state of mind.By taking exercise, we can relax our body and mind.So I share the author's view that continuing exercise and motivation to exercise are good to our body and mind heath. Why I consider that exercise is a way of life?For me,exercise is not only a way to build my body,but also my interest and hobby.Actually,I like exercise,especially dancing.Every time when I dance,I can fell another person in my body.It's me,but it isn't me.She is a graceful,lively,confident,beautiful girl.As a dancer, like a elf living in a fairy world. Rags to Rags, Riches to Riches “Opportunity is the crux of the American ideal.” People in the American society used to think that with hardwork and self-determination, they are sure to succeed and realize their dreams. But in recent years the idea of the “American Dream” is starting to fade since rich children stay rich whereas poor children still stay poor.
