一 . 教材分析:
本课为初中英语鲁教版六年级下册Unit 10 Is there a post office near here ? Section A 。本单元教材以“问路”为中心话题,学习和运用句型进行问路及指路。而本课作为本单元的第一课,以学习并运用Is there…?及关于建筑名称的单词、一些方位介词进行简单的问路与指路,为本单元之后的学习做铺垫。
二. 学生情况分析:
本节课的授课对象是六年级的学生,他们对英语知识有了初步的积累,充满了好奇心和想象力,具有合作学习和独立思考的能力,因此,在本节课的教学过程中,本人注意充分利用学生已有的基础,创设了贴近生活的情境,将难点、重点巧妙化解于各种形象的图片,视频、游戏、竞赛及生活化的情境中,充分激活学生思维,让学生最终能够leaning by doing,达到真正运用语言的能力。
三 教学目标
1.知识目标:
(1)学生能够听、说读等方法掌握建筑物词汇,如:bank, hospital, post office等及方位介词和短语如:next to, across from, in front of 等。
(2)掌握以下用于问路的一般疑问句及其回答:
A: Is there a hospital near here?
B: Yes, there is./No, there isn’t
(3)能用所学介词和介词短语表达物品的位置关系。
2.能力目标:通过本课学习学生能看懂英文地图,增强方向感,学会用英语简单问路、指路。
3.情感态度价值观目标:培养学生具有乐于助人的品质,陶冶热爱自己的家乡,争做家乡小主人的情操。
四 教学重点、难点分析
教学重点:方位介词、there be 句型一般疑问句的问答的教学。
教学难点:能够运用所学知识在实际情境中问路、指路。

教师:课件、街道建筑卡片。
学生:地点卡片,练习纸,导学案
六 教学过程设计
Step 1 Warming up and lead --in
Watch Video----Introduction of Haiyang
T: Do you like Haiyang?Yes,Haiyang is a beautiful city .Let’s enjoy a video to know about HaiYang .
Haiyang is a modern city now .Is there a park in the video? Yes. there is. It is Wetand Park. And if you are tired, you can have a rest in the park. It’s very beautiful.
【设计意图】视频播放有关海阳的视频,唤起学生的共鸣和了解家乡的欲望,谈论视频中的海阳建筑,活跃了课堂气氛,拉近了和学生的距离。Today, we are going to learn unit 10 Is there a post office near here?(板书标题)
Step2:Presentation
Now, class, let’s look at the pictures. And we’re at the crossing of Haiyang .
Task1. New words
T:What is this?
S: A supermarket.
T: Yes, there is a Jiajia yue supermarket here. What can we do in it?
S1: We can go shopping
S2:We can buy food
S3:We can buy clothes..
T: Aha, Very good .I love going shopping ,too.

T:The hospital is across from the supermarket.(学生根据音标和图片读出单词hospital)
T:Isthere a restaurant near here?
S:Yes
T:It’s Dicos. The restaurant is next to the supermarket.( 学生根据音标和图片读出单词restaurant)
【设计意图】通过出示学生所熟悉的海阳十字路口的图片中的一些建筑,复习预习的表示建筑词汇,学生身临其境的走进海阳,开口说英语的同时活跃了课堂气氛。学生通过自我识读音标来学习新的单词,能掌握自我学习英语单词学习的方法,并能够初步了解Is there…….. 这符合学生由已知导入未知的学习过程,同时将句型与词汇的学习初步结合起来,提高学习效率。出示学生自己制作的卡片图,再一次巩固单词。

【设计意图】在掌握了单词的基础上,结合海阳地理实际和图片让学生张开嘴“说英语”,用两两对话的形式,提高学生的口语能力,同时也练习了“Is there…”句型的运用

Task6:Talk in groups
T:Now ,look at the pictures. Where is the pay phone? Just like the ball and the box, where is the ball. It’s on the ball. so we can say, the pay phone is on Green Street.

【设计意图】先从动画了解事物位置关系,根据语言学习先听后说的认知规律,让学生先听听原汁原味的录音,通过听后模仿朗读,让学生建立良好的语感,感知并形成较为地道的语音语调。小组间合作对话,听说的形式的形式更加多样化。根据课堂要求,调整教材内容顺序,将2a放到听说后,根据图片和句子搭配。

给学生发放地点卡片,将教室布置成海阳一角。
解释比赛规则(Who is the best guide)
(教室就是海阳一角,来海阳旅游的陌生人可以从门口进入,任何同学都可以是在现场的指路的导游,表演前导游可以到老师这里拿表示地点的头饰,然后进行表演,看看哪个组表演的最好,哪个导游是最佳导游,口语要流利,反应要迅速。)
